Just last month it was reported that the pop star allegedly struck her housekeeper during an argument. Britney Spears Won’t Face Legal Action After Supposedly Striking Her Housekeeper With A Cell Phone
Apparently, this all began when the housekeeper grew concerned over Britney’s dogs. She was worried that the dogs appeared to be dehydrated from a lack of water. The dogs had also been eating scraps of food from the table, an insider has claimed. But now it seems like Brit Brit has nothing to worry about as she has been cleared from any wrongdoing.
“Misdemeanor Unit Supervisor Blake Heller thoroughly reviewed the case submitted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, and declined to file charges based upon insufficient evidence that a crime had occurred and the lack of injury to the housekeeper or significant damage to the phone,” DA Erik Nasarenko said in a statement.
The housekeeper – who has remained anonymous – told authorities that her fight with Britney escalated to the point in which the pop singer slapped the phone from her grip, but responding officers said the housekeeper had no visible injuries and reported damage only to the phone’s screen protector, Nasarenko said.
