General Hospital spoilers for the week of September 13th reveal there’s some serious drama ahead in Nixon Falls. It could actually be the end of the story that has upset a lot of fans, while others have been enjoying the change of pace. We’ll also see more of the wedding between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan). Let’s see what the promo has to say.
General Hospital spoilers: Plus One
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been busy planning the wedding of the century. So, we’re looking forward to some classic Maxie event planning antics as the big day arrives. Unfortunately for her, she’s also been roped into taking Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) as her date for the event, thanks to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). We’re personally calling disaster right now. This plan of Brook Lynn’s has to backfire.
As if to prove that point, Maxie’s date won’t go unnoticed at GH. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) notices Maxie in this nice sparkly dress and asks what she’s all dolled up for. We assume, of course, that Austin’s schedule forced her to go there to pick him up. And we’re looking forward to what possible reaction is ahead when Britt learns who Maxie’s there to see.
General Hospital spoilers: The past never dies
Elsewhere, we think they might be hinting at a reunion in this promo. As we hear something about how the past always catches up with you, we see a clip of Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Last we saw him, he was at GH, begging Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) to wake up. General Hospital spoilers indicate Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) overheard him, so we have a feeling the Ashfords might re-think the divorce thing when Jordan recovers. Technically, they’re still married anyway, as the papers never got mailed out. More on this another time, as we have a feeling some big drama is in store for these characters.
General Hospital spoilers: The end?
Finally, it looks like the Nixon Falls thing might be coming to an end. We have to say, whoever put this promo together is sneaky. They showed a clip of “Mike” (Maurice Benard) claiming to love Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Then, we see a fire being set in the Tan-O with her and Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) tied up. One could interpret that as “Mike” snapping at the truth, but we think it’s really Peter August (Wes Ramsey) behind this.
The timing, though, is questionable. We believe Peter and Nina are interrupted and Peter comes back to get revenge a little later. Why? Because “Mike” was on his way to check on Nina and he left alone. Phyllis had discovered he left his phone in his rush to check on her, so unless Phyllis decided to follow and return the phone, rather than give “Mike” and Nina space, we don’t see how else those two end up in that position. Because if “Mike” felt Nina was threatened at all, he’d tear Peter apart. He seemed too determined to have this shot with Nina, no matter what he’d heard when Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) came along.
