On the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, we have seen Steven Johnston and his girlfriend, Alina getting ready to move in together. Steven is moving from Utah to be with her in Russia, but viewers have seen some sides to him that they don’t like. Fans of the show are excited about Alina though. Alina has been sticking up for herself when it comes to Steven’s thoughts on the move, their marriage, and their relationship.
’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’: Alina Shows Maturity
After we found out that Steven hasn’t been sticking to his religion and has, indeed, had sex, we all were confused on why he told Alina that she must remain a virgin. His contradictory views aren’t sitting with viewers very well at all. There is one thing though, Alina has shown incredible maturity throughout this whole thing and fans are really cheering her on.
Fans loved it when Steven asked Alina if he could see other women while they were dating and she told him, “No, that doesn’t work for me.” She also told him the same line when he told her that he had rented them two different apartments when he gets there so that he wouldn’t be tempted to sleep with her. She stood her ground and clearly isn’t letting anything fly with him.
Reddit users wanted to praise Alina for her words to Steven. One wrote, “I love her line. He’s agreed to stay the first night. I want to see how this works out.” Another chimed in with, “I like her assertiveness! I have hope for her! She gets a pass because of how young and naive she is, but it sounds like she has some sense.” After hearing this conversation, fans of the show really do think that Alina has a lot that she has proven to Steven and it looks like she will not back down from him!
Fans of the show also feel that Alina needs to stand up to Steven on the topic of staying a virgin. He has contradicted himself many times over the purity thing and now that he has revealed to us all that he has already had sex, many times, he better have something to back this up with.
