It’s without a doubt that both fans and critics will have a lot to say about this. Even though actress Kim Cattrall will always be best known, remembered and loved as the original Samantha on Sex and the City, it looks like the show’s reboot has found her replacement.

That’s because there’s a new report that says actress Nicole Ari Parker has just been cast as Carrie Bradshaw’s – played by Sarah Jessica Parker – best friend in the new series, And Just LIke That. Keep reading to find out more.

According to reports, Nicole Ari Parker is said to be replacing Kim Cattrall, who decided not to reprise her role on the show. However, the show will see Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon – as well as writer Michael Patrick King – returning to the show, which was one of the defining TV series of the nineties and noughties, winning seven Emmys and eight Golden Globe awards.

Over the summer, Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, shared a picture of her with co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in New York. She captioned the snap: “Together again. Read through our first episodes. Alongside all the fellas and our newest cast members. Like an ice cream sundae.”

The HBO Max series is expected to catch up with the cast years since fans last saw them in 2010 film Sex And The City 2. The original Sex And The City ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004.

It was previously announced that Chris Noth is reprising his role as Mr Big in the reboot, while Willie Garson and Mario Cantone are also returning.
