Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, shared a picture of her with co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in New York. She captioned the snap: “Together again. Read through our first episodes. Alongside all the fellas and our newest cast members. Like an ice cream sundae.”
Sex And The City Cast Reunite For Reboot Series – Without Kim Cattrall
According to reports, Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, will not be appearing in the series following years of a reported rift between her and Sarah Jessica Parker.
The HBO Max series is expected to catch up with the cast years since fans last saw them in 2010 film Sex And The City 2. The original Sex And The City ran on HBO from 1998 to 2004.
It was previously announced Chris Noth will reprise his role as Mr Big in the reboot, while Willie Garson and Mario Cantone are also returning.
Of course, it didn’t take very long for fans to comment on Sarah Jessica’s photo, with a lot of them saying that they are excited about the reboot while others admitted that things just won’t be the same without Kim Cattrall’s character of Samantha.
Some comments included, “Female friendship or mean girl clique? I can’t tell the difference but it just won’t be the same without the fourth main character so why even bother,” along with, “I used to love SATC but can we just stop with all of these reboots and recasts and reunions? Enough already.”
