‘Love in Paradise’ Spoilers reveal that Amber went to talk with Daniel’s neighbors, David and Christine. They are both immigrants, David is from Israel, and Christine is from Canada, and they are both very familiar with the immigration process.
Amber went to go vent to them and maybe get a different perspective on the situation that she’s in, which is a pretty smart move. Not that Daniel doesn’t need to be called to the carpet – he does – but sometimes having a pair of fresh eyes look at a situation can help the matter.
‘Love in Paradise’: Amber gets another perspective
Amber told them all about how Daniel quit his job and professed at first because he wanted to spend more time with Amber when she got to Costa Rica, then claimed that his boss wouldn’t let him have the time off in order to go procure the documents required for the K-1 Visa. She also said what he had told her about the trip to procure the documents being a hassle because he has to ride 2 hours by bus in order to go and get his Venezuelan Police record.
Christine said that she did understand about the process taking forever because that is just the way Spanish culture is, everything is a production, you can’t just walk in and expect to get things done right away there’s a lot of pomp and circumstance to it.
Amber is concerned about money, and David and Christine heard that concern too. Christine said that she feels like Daniel, being only 24 is at a very different place in his life compared to Amber who is 30 and is a workaholic, as she called it. (No, it’s called just trying to exist in the United States, Christine.)
Amber also expressed concern about having to teach him everything once he got to the United States, will essentially have to be his everything, and on top of that she will have to work as well because Daniel can’t until he gets a work permit or a green card, which in all honesty might take a few months. (Look how long it took Julia Trubkina Gibb from 90 day fiance.)
She said that she got the feeling that Daniel was one of those guys that followed Amber around like a lovesick puppy, however, I don’t think she’d be saying that if she had seen him the night before, flirting with that other girl.
Amber came out and asked Dave and Christine about other women, but they said they had never seen another girl coming around Daniel’s place. However, the way the question was answered kind of begged the question as to whether or not they were being truthful or just didn’t want to get involved. Some people don’t want to. We’ll see.
