Britney, for her part, has been through a lot of late, as shown by her conservatorship battle with her father, Jamie Spears. And it seems that the pressure of it all may have split over to her personal life.
Her housekeeper reported Britney to the authorities and accused her of slapping her mobile phone out of her hands in an act of rage. While Britney denied doing anything of the sort, her failure to talk to the authorities led them to come to her house.
After an investigation was done, the evidence was sent to the Ventura County District in order to decide whether Britney will face any charges. And yet, Britney’s attorney (Mathew Rosengart) has been quick to shut down any worries that have been caused by this incident. In an official statement given to Us Weekly, he claimed that things were being blown out of proportion.
He said: “This is overblown sensational tabloid fodder — nothing more than a manufactured ‘he said, she said’ regarding a cell phone, with no striking and obviously no injury whatsoever. Anyone can make an accusation, but this should have been closed immediately.”
Regardless of what happens with this case, it is not going to help Britney one bit. After all, she is claiming that she no longer needs a conservator. However, this incident would indicate that she is not ready to lead an independent life due to her volatile nature.
Having said all that, it has not stopped her desire to move on with her life. Her previous comments have confirmed as much: “I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years, and it’s enough. It’s been a long time since I’ve owned my money. And it’s my wish and my dream for all of this to end without being tested.” Time will tell how it will all play out, but for now, the only thing that Britney can do is wait. And her fans will be there to support her every step of the way to make sure she is fine.
