‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Guest Lance Bass Claims Connor Brennan is Not Here for the Right Reasons.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season 7 is three episodes and two guest hosts in…but it’s the number of ‘original songs’ Connor B. has been shoving down everyone’s throats that has the newest guest host to step foot in Crabland, er, we mean, Mexico, concerned.

N*Sync alum Lance Bass recently sat down with The Bachelorette, The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise alum, Nick Viall on his podcast, The Viall Files to dish about his time in Paradise and why he believes Connor B. isn’t there for the right reasons.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Guest Lance Bass Claims Connor Brennan is Not Here for the Right Reasons.

“You can tell he’s a very sweet guy but I’m not convinced he’s there to find love,” Lance told Nick.” I definitely see him on there trying to start his country career like a lot of people do on that show.”

A guy with his ukulele on a beach is NO ONE’S version Paradise.

But does that necessarily mean the eighth grade math teacher who was a discard from Katie Thurston’s recently wrapped Bachelorette season is a clout chaser? Lance says yes, and he has more ‘evidence’

Of course seasons are filmed ahead of airing, so season 17 of the Bachelorette, staring Connor B with his whiskers and…yes, ukulele, hadn’t aired by the time Connor B. hit the beach to film Paradise.

Lance, however, watched the season ahead of heading south of the boarder. When Connor B. learned this news, Lance claims he became extremely focused on whether the song he’d serenaded Katie with had made the cut.

” [Connor] was like, ‘Wait did my song make it? Did my song make it?’” Lance explained on the podcast. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think your song made it.’ But that was like the only thing he was concerned about, was if his song made the cut.”

However, after the last episode of Bachelor in Paradise is any indicator, it may be a good thing Connor B. has his ukulele and…music career? His main interest on the beach, Maurissa Gunn (who was a night one reject-ee from Peter Weber’s season) moved on (and then some) with Riley Christian, a fan favorite from Tayshia Adams’ season.

Here’s hoping another lady who’s really into ukuleles hits the beach soon or at-home viewers are sure to hear a whole lot more of Connor B., soon to be singing some Olivia Rodrigo style break-up ditties for the crabs!

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays (yup, that’s four hours of Bachelor-style goodness each week) on ABC.
