‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Connor Brennan Claps Back at Lance Bass’ Claims He’s on the Show to Promote Music Career

‘Bachelor In Paradise’ star Connor Brennan is clapping back at N*Sync alum and BIP guest host, Lance Bass who claims Connor is in Paradise for one reason only- and it’s not to find love.

Lance recently sat down with Bachelor alum, Nick Viall for his The Viall Files podcast and discussed his tenure as Bachelor In Paradise host. One thing he mentioned was not quite believing that Connor was in Paradise to find love, but more a career in music.

Lance is definitely not the only one to notice Connor has been wearing out his guitar on the beach in Mexico.

Yet Lance had more to add to his claims of Connor being a clout chaser, divulging that Connor was over the moon that his song from Season 17 of The Bachelorette had made it to air. However, Connor refutes the claim that he came to Paradise (or The Bachelorette) to boost his music career and is addressing both the guest host, and viewers with his hot denial.

Bachelor Nation have flocked to Twitter to discuss Connor’s continual guitar and ukulele playing…

Alright whoever told Connor he could bring the guitar needs to be fired like pack it up John Mayer #BachelorInParadise

Connor is the guy who carried around his acoustic guitar and sang Wonderwall on college campuses #bachelorinparadise

I need one of the other guys in Paradise to do Connor B a favor and launch that ukulele into the ocean. He'll be better off. #BachelorInParadise

…so that’s where Connor headed to throw in his own two cents.

‘he’s there for his music’ ‘enough with the uke’ ‘ugh he’s cringey and annoying’ – fuck OFF and let me play my dumb little songs for people; it’s my way to try and bring a little joy. kindness is free #BachelorInParadise

The tweet has racked up over 5K likes, and even Connor’s “Mom” has joined Twitter just to support her son.

Though there are plenty of naysayers who scoffed that “Mom” is actually Connor’s secondary account. It sure reads like something SNL would come up with,

On the flip side, becoming fan favorite after his appearance on The Bachelorette, Connor also has a ton of fans who support the math teacher in both his romantic and musical journey in Paradise. They would be happy for the 29 year old if he came home from Mexico with a fiancé and a recording contract.

We can only imagine how Jed Wyatt, the “winner” of Hanna Brown’s Bachelorette season, who was exposed to be chasing the musical clout would feel about Connor pulling that off!
