On Thursday, August 6, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) asked to meet with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). The reason wasn’t exactly pleasant. Laura informed him that Lulu’s doctors say she hasn’t made a bit of progress in eight months. And we don’t know what alternative treatments Laura sought, but she claimed to have used some of those as well.
This led her to the conclusion that while she’ll never give up hoping that her daughter will wake up, she’s facing reality. She won’t put her life on hold and doesn’t want Dante to, either. We loved the scene between them. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal she was gentle in breaking the news, and was very supportive of Dante and his happiness. She even made it clear she still considers him family. So what’s all this mean?

Honestly, we’re not expecting Lulu back on the canvas any time soon, in recovery or otherwise. This scene felt like they were basically putting the character aside indefinitely. We’re sure there are a lot of unhappy fans after that scene, but we do believe they’ve just closed the book on the character. Whether it’s because of the actress’ latest post, they don’t want the character around right now, or they don’t want to recast, we don’t know. That brings us to what Rylan posted and how it ties in.

So, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal when the news broke Rylan was let go, she was obviously taken aback. This prompted a move that was more traveling to stay with friends for a while. But it looks like Rylan has now settled on a long-term plan. She’s moving to St. Louis, Missouri with her family so the kids can be closer to relatives as well as have some roots.
In a series of Instagram stories, the actress assured fans she will still be auditioning. She pointed out that basically all auditions are taking place via video anyway, so it’s easy to do that from anywhere. However, she does still plan to spend time in LA and work in the industry.
Rylan just pointed out she’ll be spending a lot of time on planes to get her job done. Personally, we think that means possible films or other short projects. A series takes a lot of time and would require a longer commitment. But we’ll see what projects she lands in the future. We wish her well on the big move and whatever that next part might be.
