The Tiger King himself, 58-year-old Joe Exotic is begging for his freedom claiming he is not receiving enough medical care for his ‘tired body’.
This is not the first, nor is it likely to be the last time Exotic will plea to be released from prison where he is serving a 22-year sentence for a murder to hire plot and 17 counts relating to keeping and killing big cats.
The flamboyant former zoo owner, who claims to have been ‘kidnapped’ for a political agenda and labels his sentence “a black cloud over our entire justice system in America,” is now asserting he has prostate cancer, among a myriad of other health woes.

“My body is tired, I have lost a tremendous amount of weight, the mouth sores are out of control, I throw up more than I eat,” he tweeted.
He also told fans that the prison has approved testing to see what stage his prostate cancer is in and that a biopsy will also be scheduled on a tumor below his ribs. A colonoscopy and endoscopy are also upcoming.
Yet Exotic claims he is not getting enough healthcare while incarcerated at the Fort Worth Medical Center?
After not receiving a pardon he was sure of securing when Trump left office (Exotic had a limousine and glam squad on standby for his triumphant release), the once presidential hopeful is now hoping to have the Biden administration involved in his case.
Meanwhile Netflix has wrapped on the Tiger King 2 documentary according to one of the stars of the original docu-series and key player in the sequel, Jeff Lowe.
Two dramatized series based on the Netflix phenomenon (seriously- which part needs dramatization?) will also be coming out in the near future.
One starring SNL alum Kate McKinnon as Exotic’s nemesis, Carole Baskin is heading to the streaming platform Peacock and another starring Nicolas Cage as Joe Exotic will he airing on CBS. No release date for any of the three spin-offs has been announced.
