Even though Prince Harry is supposedly very happy with his wife Meghan Markle, shares two children with her, and lives in California with his new family, if it were up to Prince William, he would turn back the clock during a time in which no one even knew Meghan’s name.
That’s because things are drastically different now than they were back when Harry was still considered the Most Eligible Bachelor in the world, for both the Cambridges and everyone else in the British Royal Family.
Yet there’s one royal expert who believes it’s time for Prince William to just give it up and accept the fact that Harry is truly happy with the new life that he has built for himself. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince William Refuses To Believe Prince Harry Is Happy With Meghan Markle
William and Harry’s feud apparently began back in 2016 when the future King of England told his little brother that he was moving too fast in his relationship with Meghan Markle.
Fast forward a few years later, Harry and Meghan pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family and moved to California to start a better life for themselves. Needless to say, things haven’t been the same for anyone, either in L.A. or across the pond, as the monarchy’s foundation is now fractured because of the brothers’ feud.
Royal expert Leslie Carroll told Fox News that it’s time for that it’s not a bad thing that Harry has decided to go on a different path than his brother and that William simply needs to accept this as a fact.
She said, “I wish that William could finally accept the happiness of the Sussexes. People are different, and everyone has their own path to the altar. It took William a decade to realize that Catherine was The One. Harry realized it for himself almost immediately on meeting Meghan. There’s no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to find your person.”
“I’ve long said, only half in jest, that the British royal family is the world’s longest-running soap opera,” she continued. “And it’s the media that keeps feeding the narrative, plumping up the plot wherein heroes and villains/esses are selected and those storylines are fed to the public. It’s also ironic to me that William (and Catherine) and Harry were instrumental in forming the Heads Together mental health awareness campaign in Great Britain — and William had the sensitivity to recognize how important this issue is for his future subjects who may be suffering.”
“Why does he not seem to extend that same concern for his own kid brother?” Carroll shared. “And accept the fact that Harry has a happy marriage to a woman who — so much like their own mother — is his biggest fan?”
