Is it too late to turn back time and take back some of the things she said? That’s what Meghan Markle is probably thinking to herself right about now as there’s a new report that says the Duchess of Sussex is facing a rather awkward reunion with the British Royal Family.
That’s only if she and Prince Harry decide to christen their daughter Lilibet at Windsor this year. Here’s what you need to know.
Earlier reports have indicated Prince Harry hinted that he and Meghan Markle would like to christen their daughter Lilibet in front of Queen Elizabeth at Windsor.

And while no concrete plans have been made as of press time, royal exert Russell Myers says that if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do return to London with their two children it’s going to be one of the most awkward family reunions yet. That’s because tensions are still running very high between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the British Royal Family.
Myers told Today in an interview, “It will be definitely awkward. Meghan isn’t flavor of the month with the family. Certainly, the family have always said they will be much-loved members of the family. However, we’re still talking about the fallout of the Oprah Winfrey interview, Emmy or no Emmy nomination. The tensions are still running very, very high within the family, indeed.”
This all comes after Prince Harry made his intentions clear that he and Meghan want Lilibet to be christened at Windsor, just like her older brother Archie.
One source close to the situation said, “Harry told several people that they want to have Lili christened at Windsor, just like her brother Archie. They are happy to wait until circumstances allow.”
