A new body language expert says that the Duchess of Cambridge looked much more comfortable around her father Michael Middleton than she did with her husband Prince William while at the match. Here’s what you need to know.
While no one knows what is really going on between Prince William and Kate Middleton behind closed doors, some reports suggest there might be some tension between the royal couple.
Kate Middleton More Relaxed With Father Michael Middleton Than Prince William
In fact, fans couldn’t help but notice how Kate kept her social distance – and then some – from her husband Prince William during one of England’s Euro2020 matches and now her behavior in front of her father compared to that of her husband’s has everyone wondering what is really going on.
Speaking to Express.co.uk in a new interview, body language expert Judi James says that the Duchess of Cambridge’s moves definitely changed while she was sitting in the box with her husband when her father appeared.
She told the site, “With William presumably on his way to Wembley with his fingers still crossed for tonight’s match, it was Kate’s father on stand-in duty, and the change in roles between royal wife and daughter are visible in Kate’s shift in body language signals.”
James added, “Arriving looking every inch an elegant and confident future Queen, Kate seems to have settled into a look that is much less about status and more about dad-and-daughter fun once they got into their seats. She settles back here, instead of sitting upright as usual, and we can see her throwing herself into the Mexican wave with a huge grin of delight, cheering as she does so.”
