‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that Eric Forrester will be popping up on Young and Restless fans screens soon. Bold fans needn’t worry, the Forrester family patriarch isn’t jumping ship.
In fact, Eric isn’t even heading to Genoa City. Instead, he will have a visitor. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be heading back to Los Angeles.
While we don’t know exactly yet why Sally would return to the city that holds more than a few bad memories for her, we can only deduce that it has a little something to do with the job she’s hoping to Summer Newman (Hunter King) will take in Italy. After all, there is a Forrester Creations connection there and that can’t be a coincidence.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Eric Forrester (John McCook) Heading to Y&R
Like his character, Eric has a bit of a soft spot for Sally, so too does John for Courtney. He always enjoys sharing scenes with the young actress. “Courtney is a sweet, wonderful girl, who’s very conscientious,” John gushed. “I really enjoyed working with her again.”
Crossovers between the two Bradley Bell produced soaps are not a new thing. Recently Summer showed up on B&B before Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) headed to Don’s old Y&R stomping grounds. Don played mainstay Brad Carlton on Y&R for over a decade.
Don isn’t the only ex-Y&R -pat. John McCook himself played Genoa City’s Lance Prentiss back in the 70’s. McCook was in the role for four years before it was taken over by Dennis Cole.
“Lance and Eric have some things in common,” McCook joked about his two characters. “Some people even say they look a bit alike, although I’ve never really seen it.”
John’s scenes with Courtney will air on June 14, 16 and 17. It is said he will further pop up as Eric and Sally’s stay in touch via video calls.
Of course, you can catch John as Eric weekdays on B&B on CBS as well!
