Prince William is certainly not going to make an effort to be nice to his brother Prince Harry, especially after all of the nasty things he’s said about the British Royal Family in public.
In fact, there’s a new report that says the Duke of Cambridge is not interested in extending an olive branch to his brother ahead of the Princess Diana statue unveiling, which is set to take place later this week. Here’s what you need to know.
The royal feud between William and Harry is definitely still on as Prince William wants nothing to do with his little brother, especially after the way he aired the family’s dirty laundry in public.
Prince William Refuses To Extend Olive Branch To Prince Harry – Is He The Royal Villain?
Both Harry and his wife Meghan Markle claimed that there’s a royal racist behind closed palace doors and that Prince Charles had cut them off both emotionally and financially.
If that weren’t enough, Meghan told the world that Kate Middleton had made her cry a few days before her royal wedding while Harry blames his father for passing down “genetic pain and suffering” to both him and his brother.
Both Prince William and Prince Harry are expected to deliver individual speeches at the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace this week, which just happened to be Princess Diana’s favorite place. But whether or not William and Harry will put on a united front, remains to be seen.
One source close to the situation told The Sunday Times, “Neither are offering an olive branch. I fear it will be the same as at Prince Philip’s funeral, a nod of recognition, and that’s about it.”
During his interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry claimed that both his father Prince Charles and his brother Prince William are “trapped” by the royal way of life.
He said, “I am part of the system with them. I always have been, but I guess – and I’m very aware of this – my brother can’t leave that system, but I have. My father and my brother are trapped. They don’t get to leave, and I have huge compassion for that.”
