This will never end, will it? Prince Charles apparently has no time to give to his son Prince Harry when he returns to London next month.
In fact, there’s a new report that says the future King of England won’t see Prince Harry at all when he returns to London for the unveiling of a statue of Princess Diana at Kensington Gardens and that’s because he will be in Scotland instead. Here’ what you need to know.
While both Prince William and Prince Harry will be at the event together, Prince Charles feels as though he has no reason being there and that’s why he will be 400 miles away in his Scottish estate of Balmoral, instead.
Prince Charles Won’t Have Time To Meet His Son Prince Harry When He Returns To London
And because the Duke of Sussex will only be in the UK for a short trip, there won’t be an opportunity for him to meet up with his father and his brother for a private and much-needed discussion between the three of them.
“Charles has made it quite clear he will not be around … because he is going to Scotland,” a source told the UK paper The Sun.
“There is no planned meeting between the three of them,” the insider said. Another person who won’t be at the statue unveiling is Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton.
Royal expert and commentator Camilla Tominey says that no one should expect to see this event become a family affair, as it’s unlikely that the Duchess of Cambridge will be there to steal the spotlight from anyone. Of course, because that’s the last thing she would want to do.
Speaking to the Daily Express, she put it this way, “We’ve never really been told that family is going to be included in this thing, we know this is the reunion for the brothers on what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday on July 1. Never any suggestions that the Cambridges would attend along with Prince William and equally, that Meghan and the children would attend with Harry. So I think we may just see them cut solo figures without their families around them. All eyes will be on the brothers of course, because everyone’s hoping there may be some kind of reconciliation at what is going to be a hugely poignant and significant moment for them, remembering their late mother.”
So far neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have made any comments about the matter, but it’s without a doubt that all eyes will be both on Harry and William during the statue unveiling.
