Kate Middleton Really Wants To Meet Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Daughter Lilibet Diana
While visiting a primary school along with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Kate was asked about Harry and Meghan’s baby girl, who arrived last Friday.
“I wish her all the very best. I can’t wait to meet her,” the Duchess of Cambridge said. “We haven’t met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon.”
The Duchess of Sussex gave birth on Friday at 11:40am at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, Calif. Sources say that both mother and daughter are doing quite well and that they are now settling at home.
“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe,” Meghan and Harry announced in a statement Sunday. “Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stated that they named their daughter Lilibeth Diana, after both Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and his mother, Princess Diana. ‘Lilibeth’ is the nickname that Prince Philip gave his wife Queen Elizabeth during their marriage and apparently was the only person who called her by this name.
