While Dame Joan Collins has certainly seen her fair share of drama along with both professional and personal ups and downs over the years, she’s not about to get in the middle of anyone’s royal business. When Piers Morgan tried to ask Collins her opinion about the Duke of Duchess of Sussex, she had some pretty sharp words.
Joan Collins Refuses To Comment On The Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Drama
“What do you make of what’s going on with the British royal family now, with Meghan, Harry, the feud, with [Prince] William, [Prince] Charles?” Morgan asked the actress and author.
“My lips are sealed on that subject,” responded Collins. “I just don’t want to go on national TV and say what I think about Meghan and Harry, because look what happened to you.”
Morgan then added, “Exactly – thank you.”
Meanwhile, some critics have said that Piers Morgan has gone too far in his criticism of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Shortly after it was announced that Meghan would be writing a children’s book about fatherhood, Piers lashed out with, “If she really cared about father-child relationships, she’d take a chauffeur-driven limousine on the hour-long trip to see her own father who’s never even met either Harry or Archie.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both royal fans and critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them said, “Piers is going too far. It’s time for him to get over his obsession with the Sussexes,” while another said, “Is there anything else that he’s capable of talking about?”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, for their part, have remained quiet about Morgan’s criticism of them.
