‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers find that Lamon Archey is doing double duty, playing a detective on the world’s most attractive police force, the Salem PD by day and recurring as Superintendent D’Angelo Carter on The CW high school football series All American by night.
But that doesn’t mean he’s too busy to leak some secrets from the DOOL set, like a certain tattoo the make-up department is not very fond of. Archey has a tattoo on his shoulder of the earth on fire. Archey cringes as he elaborates, “Under it says: ‘hell on earth.’ It’s clearly covered up for the Days shirtless scenes.”

We think the Days make-up team could use all the work they can get. If that means more shirtless scenes, well, audience will just have to accept it …hint, hint…
Another perhaps not-so-secret about the DOOL set is that babies- Jules and Carver Grant aren’t being played by babies at all. This is due Covid-19 restrictions, but Archey seems to think they will finally be replaced by babies before the end of the year to give audiences all the ‘awwwwww’s they could hope for.
They better be auditioning some cute babies if they have Eli and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) for parents!
As for his co-stars- it seems the bromance is real for Archey and Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera). While Archey couldn’t promise there’s be any Eli/Chad scenes coming up, he did joke about Flynn, “He hugged me from the back a little too long yesterday. It was uncomfortable.” To which Flynn butted in with his flirty response, “Wasn’t long enough babe.”
Archey also hinted at some interesting footage the DOOL team has of the myth, the man, the legend- John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis). When asked about bloopers or embarrassing goofs, Archey replied, “I have an old one of John Aniston.”
So, what does Archey plan to do with it? Let us in on the fun? Blackmail Aniston until he finally brings his daughter (Jennifer Aniston) to set? “I won’t release it without his and @nbcdays approval.”
Finally, Archey dropped one last secret, about what will happen before and after DOOL goes on its two-week hiatus for the Summer Olympics- July 23 to August 6.
He told fans not to expect explosions or any mass casualties, “But there is a shocking secret!” he teased. “Stay tuned!”
