ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal we talked a little bit about the mystery of Austin (Roger Howarth) recently. Considering his reaction to see the Corinthos name on a GH ward, we have been leaning toward a Corinthos connection. However, this article argues for the opposite. And we have to say, we see some fun times ahead if that’s true.

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal we are new to this show. Our GH viewing began around the time Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was inflicting more terror on Port Charles. It was not long after the Ashfords got married. So, we’re unaware of some aspects of the history, but we love finding out things as we go along—especially though the show.
However, we learned recently through that article there’s a Q connection in that town Peter August (Wes Ramsey) wanted Not-Chloe Jennings (Kimberly J. Brown) to take Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to.
A Q connection would definitely explain a bit about how he owns all that property in the area, but we see another reason why we think this has potential for some crazy moments ahead.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Laid-back
See, Austin made his disdain for city slickers and big-city cynicism very clear with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). We can see him giving this family a much-needed reality check, as we don’t buy Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) new leaf to last long.
Even if it does, look at most of the rest of the family? He will have no patience for their obsession with ELQ and the tactics they sometimes use.
Heck, Brook Lynn Quatermaine (Amanda Setton) was reaching out to some of her family to get a black-market baby. One holiday in that house, and he’ll likely tell them where they can go and what they can do with themselves.
It kind of reminds us of the DiMera situation on DOOL. He didn’t grow up in that house and didn’t get brought into the family business as young adults, as was the case with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Brook Lynn.
So, he’ll have this completely different outlook on life. Much like Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) on DOOL. Could we see a similar situation, where he comes along and ends up having a lot of the family turn on him? We’ll see.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Complications
As mentioned in the article, there’s a good chance he could recognize Maxie’s baby if he’s ever hanging around the Q house. We don’t see him saying anything in front of others, but we do see him confronting Maxie.
And we believe he’s the only one (except Brook Lynn, of course) she’ll confide the truth in. She won’t really have a choice, because he delivered the child. She’ll have to explain why another woman is raising her, and we believe he’ll be supportive.
Austin seemed really concerned about Maxie and why she didn’t want to go to a hospital, so that will likely put some pieces together. We’re curious to see if he’ll take any active role in the Peter situation to help Maxie get her baby back. And we wouldn’t be shocked if that’s what maybe starts that predicted romance.
