‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Goodbye B&B, Hello ‘Fantasy Island’ for Kiara Barnes (Zoe Buckingham)!

‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers reveal that Zoe Buckingham’s time in the Bold and the Beautiful’s LA is drawing to a close, but no worries for those Kiara Barnes fans out there. Looks like she has already found a new, steady gig at a different network. She’ll be starring in Fox’s new Fantasy Island reboot!

In this incarnation of the series, she’ll be starring as Ruby Okoro, a terminally ill woman who is given a new opportunity at life when she lands on the island by Elena Roarke, who is a direct descendant of Mr. Roarke – a role made infamous by Ricardo Montalban back in the day.

‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Goodbye B&B, hello ‘Fantasy Island’ for Kiara Barnes

Anyone who was a big fan of TV in the early 80’s will know this franchise, I only remember it only in passing because I was a toddler at the time of its airing, and mostly for its epic line, “The Plane! The Plane!” uttered by Hervé Jean-Pierre Villechaize, who sadly died in 1993.

Fast forwarding to 2021, it looks like this reboot will have all the fantastical trappings of the original series, but how will it be received by modern audiences? We don’t know yet. Deadline says the series is about people who “wake up with a desire, but end up reborn unto themselves”… what does that actually mean anyway? I don’t remember the original series being that deep.

Also, how will Zoe exit B&B? We don’t know that either yet, will she simply go back to London, or maybe a new modeling opportunity will arise in Paris and Milan and she’ll flee far away from the world of LA. Also, there is a chance that she could get a letter from Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) that he needs her, perhaps he’s dying in prison and needs her close.

Maybe she’ll go and try to recruit Thomas’s Mom, Dr. Taylor Hayes to help her with that seeing as those two used to be romantically involved and she won’t be seen again. Maybe she’ll go on a tinder date and find the man of her dreams and run away with him, or maybe, just maybe, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will simply snap and kill her much like he did poor Emma Barber (Nia Sioux), (Nope we’re not forgetting about that anytime soon. #JusticeforEmma)

Either way, at least Barnes’ fans will not be deprived of her on their TV screen for long. Stay tuned!!!  For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish. For more royal and celeb baby news, come back to Celeb Baby Laundry.
