Is she coming off a little bit pushy? Well, it depends on who you ask. Chrissy Teigen made it no secret that she is super excited over the fact that she has a new friendship with Meghan Markle and in fact, wants to head over to her mansion in Montecito, Calif. just so they can chill together.
The former model talked about her new relationship with the Duchess of Sussex during an interview with al the Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World event in Los Angeles. Here’s what she has to say.
Even though Meghan wasn’t at the event, but her husband Prince Harry was, Chrissy told reporters that she has nothing but respect for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Chrissy Teigen Really, Really Wants To Hang Out With Meghan Markle
“They’re so wonderful for co-chairing this,” Teigen added of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. “This is obviously such an incredibly important event that I’m so happy to be a part of.”
Chrissy also joked that she can’t wait to go over to the Sussex’s house and chill. Chrissy earlier said that Meghan had reached out to her to connect over their experiences with pregnancy loss. Chrissy lost her son Jack back in September while Meghan herself miscarried her child last summer.
“I feel like our world has just gotten so small, through this whole pandemic and everything,” Teigen shared. “We have to go to Montecito and chill in the chicken house. Archie’s Cluckin’ Hut?”
Chrissy also said it’s high time everyone get vaccinated.
“We want to tell people to get vaccinated, plain and simply, this event is just something to celebrate not only these frontline workers that are able to come see and watch this event, but also be able to tell people to get this vaccine and that it’s safe and it’s something that is going to let us get back to our normal lives,” the social media queen shared, adding, “And we can hug people again and kiss and cook food and have brunch and do the silly things we miss so much. It’s a step toward that.”
