Chris Pratt has been talking about his new film ‘The Tomorrow War’ for a while now, but what’s the film about and why should you be excited to see it? Well, it’s easy. There’s time travel, aliens and of course, Chris Pratt. What’s not to like?
The official trailer is finally out, and aside from Pratt hyping it up across social media, it looks like it’s going to be a truly awesome film. We’ll travel 30 years into the future to combat deadly aliens! Don’t worry though, as Pratt will have help from his estranged father in the film played by none other than J.K. Simmons!

“In The TOMORROW WAR, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.”

The film definitely looks like it has the heart of ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, and that’s what a lot of people are comparing it to. Although, it looks to be a completely different film and is not part of the same universe. Yet. While some fans are bummed that it is not connected to ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, it looks like it will be able to hold itself up as a fantastic film.
