Anna Faris has spoken on how she ignored her marital problems during her relationship with ex-husband Chris Pratt.
Anna Faris Hid Her Marital Problems With Chris Pratt From Her Closest Friends
The pair met during a film project that they were working on. The movie entitled ‘Take me home Tonight’ was the beginning of a romance that would ultimately be short-lived. They would go on to get engaged in 2008 before marrying a year later. While they shared a son together, they simply could not continue in their current setting.
During an appearance on her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, she said: “For me, I think after every break-up, at some point I realize that there were a lot of things I ignored that I really shouldn’t have.” After their break-up, Anna became more vocal on the reasons why they decided to part ways. Out of all the reasons that could have been possible, it was merely a case of careers getting in the way of their happiness.
Actors are all too aware of balancing their emotions, but sometimes it can get the best of them. And the duo’s desire to outdo each other ultimately came at the expense of their marriage. A source said: “Chris…never felt good enough for Anna Faris, and then when their relationship started to go downward, he was angry and not liking who he was.”
Everything seemed fine on the surface, however. Even Anna’s closest friends were oblivious to what was going on. And this reached a point where Anna put aside her doubts by marrying Chris. On reflection, it would have been wise to call things off immediately, or take some time off before deciding whether she wanted a long-term commitment.
She added: “I never talked about any issues, so to the people, even who I was closest to…I think that we both [did that].” Although break-ups are never a nice thing to experience, it has undoubtedly taught Anna how to approach her future relationships. That is precisely what has happened. She has, since then, gotten engaged Michael Barrett.
By all accounts, things could not be going any better. It is great to see her being so happy and long may that continue.
