ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is getting in the thick of the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) situation. But is he about to take a huge fall? Let’s take a look at how his favorite aunt might end up being his downfall.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bravo!
First, we gotta give props. This week, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Renault had a confrontation that centered around her behavior—and Nikolas’ plan to buy Pentonville. Both Kober and Francis were amazing in the scene.
You really feel Cyrus’ pain and rage at her rejection, and Francis does great at alternating between tough woman and fearful when she’s around him. It’s really something to see and we hope there are more scenes between them to come.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Good intentions…
You know what they say about intentions, right? Well, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) are definitely leading Nikolas to a bad situation. While at Pentonville, she’s been busy. Namely, she’s been trying to convince Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) he needs to fight for his freedom.
He’s been hesitant. Sure, he confessed to the crime and thought he was guilty then. But he knows better now, and is having difficulty with the idea of showing remorse for something he didn’t do.
This is where things are about to get complicated for Nikolas. During a visit with TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow), Shawn made it clear he’s ready to get out—and find who really shot Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
TJ even offered his and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) help. But Shawn feels he needs to do this himself, and he thinks it would be too dangerous for them to get involved. The real shooter could get wind of this and target them.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Goodbye?
That brings us to Thursday. After speaking with Cyrus, Laura wanted to warn Nikolas about their new enemy status and questioned his motives for buying Pentonville.
Nikolas flashed back to Shawn and Alexis talking about the Hayden situation, so they’re clearly setting up Nikolas for some trouble in the future.
Right now, it seems obvious Nikolas might have started with noble intent, but we think that conversation between Shawn and Alexis gave him another reason to be the one in charge. He can make sure Shawn doesn’t get parole.
Of course, that’s risky on another level. If Alexis finds out, she won’t take well to that and it will cause a serious rift between them. Not to mention, the rift with Laura if the truth comes out as well.
It can also lead to problems for other characters. For example, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). They know the truth, but have kept quiet. According to Wiki, it was for a great reason, too—getting back ELQ. Seriously, that company does things to people.
If that also comes out, Shawn won’t be happy. And it could be yet another situation that could threaten the Corinthos business. We’re looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.
