Eddie Cibrian says that he couldn’t be any more prouder of his wife LeAnn Rimes for revealing her psoriasis to the world, even though it was one of the most difficult things she’s ever done in her life.
He said that he hopes the country singer’s openness helped other people dealing with the chronic skin condition who “are ashamed and want to hide it.”
“I think it helps them out when she comes out to talk about it so openly, I think it helps them out as well,” the actor told Page Six in an interview.

Last year LeAnn posed naked in a magazine shoot, revealing her body covered in red spots, and penned a personal essay for the magazine about living from a young age with psoriasis.
“This is finally my time, to be honest about what psoriasis is and what it looks like,” wrote Rimes, who was diagnosed at 2 years old.
Back in November, the blonde beauty opened up about her depression and anxiety and why she decided to sing about her true feelings and emotions on her new album, CHANT: The Human & The Holy. The album is slated to drop sometime in late 2021.
Recalling how she almost reached her breaking point, LeAnn told Fox News in an interview at the time, “People are so ashamed to talk about it and ask for help. But taking away the shame is so important. I had so much underlying grief, everything accumulated and I had to give in.”
“It’s taken my whole journey to allow something like this to be birthed through me. I just trusted it and I didn’t question it,” she continued.
