ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is walking a thin line. As she continues her break from Port Charles, she’s getting closer and closer with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
And with each day that passes with her keeping silent, she’s ensuring more fury to be rained down upon her by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Let’s take a look at the latest and why we might see a bit of a romance start up.

First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal “Mike” is taking to Nina quite well, even if he doesn’t remember they know each other. In fact, we think this is in large part due to that dream of a blond he had.
Nina’s also blond, and she seemed familiar to him. While we don’t believe he thinks she’s the woman in his dream, we do think he’s feeling a kinship with her. And it might be building into something a bit more.
They have opened up to each other quite a bit, for one. And “Mike” suggested they go to a dance together. Although Nina had to turn the invite down, as she’s going with Elijah Crow (Dan White), she promised to save “Mike” a dance.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: A new side
We think this could be something on Nina’s end, too, even if she’s not realizing it yet. It’s clear she’s enjoying “Mike’s” company, and she’s definitely seeing a more relaxed Sonny.
One who doesn’t have a criminal empire on his shoulders. A free spirit not burdened by a past. She almost seems a bit jealous of this fresh start he has.
Throughout the episode, she asked “Mike” about whether he’d want to know his past. Much like Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) on ‘Days of Our Lives’, he’s not really in a rush to remember where he came from. He’s enjoying the town and the company, not to mention working at the Tan-O.
We believe this is another aspect Nina might like about him that could draw them closer. It’s also convenient to her. The more he says that, the more excuse she has to keep this thing going. What’s the motivation, though?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What’s her game?
At first, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers teased that she might be doing this out of a need to get back at Carly. She definitely sounded bitter her one talk with “Mike” where she mentioned the problem without naming names. However, we don’t think it’s all about that.
Now, we’re getting this feeling that she’s being honest here—she likes that he’s getting a fresh start and enjoying it. Nina likely won’t be abandoning Port Charles and Crimson, despite the issues there. So, we think there’s a part of her living vicariously through his situation.
Plus, this is giving her an excuse to hang out more and get to know this new version of a familiar face. We’ll see if she ends up spilling the truth. But we’re leaning toward it being someone else that finally tells “Mike” who he really is. And we’re betting on Elijah.
