‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers find that former star Rachel Lindsay has been rather vocal about what she likes and doesn’t like about the franchise and now she’s reacting to the news that long-time host Chris Harrison is temporarily stepping down from The Bachelor. And let’s just say that she certainly has a few things to say about it. Here’s what you need to know.
According to ET Online, Rachel isn’t quite sure what will happen after Chris’ time off from his Bachelor hosting duties. As many fans already know, Chris Harrison announced this past weekend that he won’t be hosting The Bachelor upcoming After the Final Rose special following his controversial interview with the reality television star.

Chris defended Bachelor contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s past racist comments. Both Rachael and Chris have apologized in separate public statements.
Rachel Lindsay has reacted to the controversy by saying, “Where do we go from here as a franchise? It’s hard to say. Chris has stepped aside, which I think is the right decision… and I think he needs to understand what was done, what was wrong in that interview. He needs time. He needs to step away to do that.”
With that said, Rachel added that while it’s tough for her to accept Chris’ apology, she also thinks that she shouldn’t be too quick to judge someone.
“He has taken steps to issue not one, but two apologies. Let’s see what happens from there. I will say this: To see the contestants come together and speak out, and to say what they don’t stand for, I don’t know how we continue in this way,” she said.
She then continued with, “How do you [continue with him as host] when people in Bachelor Nation are upset, the contestants of this very show, the leads of the show? How does he go on to represent the franchise when people were so upset by what they saw in that interview?”
