Over the last few months, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been hyping up his new series on NBC, ‘Young Rock’. The series is an autobiographical adventure into the life of Johnson as he was growing up and bouncing around from place to place.
Notably, was his attention to detail when casting people to portray wrestling legends, such as his father, Andre The Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, and many more. It doesn’t seem like just a show for fans of The Rock or comedy lovers, but wrestling nuts who want to see their older favorite wrestlers brought back to life on-screen.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Chokes Up While Thanking Viewers For Positive Reactions To ‘Young Rock’
Johnson took to social media as the premiere of ‘Young Rock’ was last night to thank everyone for tuning in and giving such positive reactions. As he was thanking everyone you could see he was getting a little choked up. This show means a great deal to him and he’s not taking it lightly. In the video, he explains how he understands this is a once-in-a-lifetime/career thing and is so proud of how it’s looking.
If you missed it, you can go to NBC and watch the season premiere for free. ‘Young Rock’ will continue to air on Tuesdays 8/7c and we can only expect to see greater things come from the show. We will be doing a full review on the premiere today as well.
