‘The Office’ ran for nine seasons on NBC and was a mockumentary that followed the lives of the employees at Dunder Mifflin. Over the course of nine years, shenanigans in the show made viewers laugh out loud and made us all want to be in a relationship like Pam and Jim.
However, some of the best moments of the show came when Jim would mess with fellow-employee Dwight K. Schrute. From putting his office supplies in Jell-O, moving his desk into the bathroom and much more, we laughed along with Jim and Dwight’s expense.
However, there is one moment that was never-before-seen! In a cold open from the popular show, Jim convinces Dwight that he’s in the Matrix. Take a look at the clip below that Peacock TV shared on Twitter and had fans going nuts.

Peacock’s ‘The Office’ Shares A Never-Before-Seen ‘Matrix’ Themed Cold Open From The Series!
While it’s normally not too difficult to pull one over on Dwight, he seemed to sniff this one out immediately, much to Jim’s dismay. In Jim’s words, “He hired 30 people!”.
The clip was originally planned for the series finale, but it was ultimately cut due to time constraints. This has been lying dormant for seven years! As part of the show’s shift over to NBCUniversal’s Peacock as its new exclusive home, it finally released the long lost clip!
You can watch the first two seasons of the popular show for free on Peacock, but if you want to binge the entire show, you will need to upgrade to their premium service!
