A lot of Stranger Things fans over on tiktok are sad because over the weekend, Millie Bobby Brown deactivated her account. Previously, you could find her on tiktok being very active, posting videos of her singing and dancing, of her little dogs, everything basically, and now, suddenly… she’s gone.
Brown didn’t address the situation, and she probably won’t, but she did do a post to her IG story stating that “Realizing that surrounding yourself with positivity is the only way of living! no hate and only love.
Why did Millie Bobbie Brown delete her tiktok?
Remember to be kind… THANK YOU!” leading some fans to speculate whether or not Brown had left the platform due to bullying over her having an android phone. Yes, that’s right, apparently people are so petty over on tiktok that they will bully you for having an android phone.
What is the difference?!
The phone, depending on the model, still shoots the same kind of video, and as long as it shoots video isn’t that the point? What does it matter what brand it is? Call me old, but I don’t see why anyone would bully another person over not having an iPhone.
Then again, this could be one of those Gen Z problems that I just don’t get. As long as the phone shoots video and uploads to tiktok then what kind of phone it is should not matter. But maybe I have to be under 18 to get why.
Even if it wasn’t over the Android vs. iPhone issue, there could have still be unwanted hate on her tiktok page that she thought warranted deletion, so she just deleted the whole thing.
Bulying, over anything, is never okay. It says more about the person doing the bullying than it does about the person being bullied. Usually, that they’re very small-minded and uneducated people who shouldn’t open their mouths about issues they don’t understand, or maybe they’re just entitled kids who don’t understand that not everyone likes apple products.
Sorry to say, but I didn’t have a very good experience with apple and have an $800 paperweight as a result, so will I ever be patronizing an apple store for anything? No. So trust me when I say that I can definitely appreciate that Millie did not buy into the hype and got a phone that is probably actually covered under its warranty, and won’t break at the drop of a hat and isn’t $1K to replace if it does break under circumstances that are not covered under warranty.
Yeah, I said it. Maybe one day she’ll address this, or come back to the platform. Stay tuned!!! For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish. For more royal and celeb baby news, come back to Celeb Baby Laundry.
