CBS ‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has no problem going toe to toe with a Newman or Abbott, and will do whatever she needs to get to the top. I mean, I think we’ve seen this before right? Faked an illness to try to win back a boy. Can’t go much harder than that.
However, since arriving in Genoa City, she seems to be out for blood. Today, Summer Newman (Hunter King) became one of her first victims.
Before leaving for Paris, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) left Summer with a nugget of wisdom, and that was that Sally is a snake in the grass, and specifically, that she was going to try to use Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) against Summer to get what she wants.

Summer took this information and confronted Sally about going after her job, and this is where the claws came out, and the worst part, I was totally cheering Sally on. I know there are a lot of Summer Newman fans out there, but I can’t really stand her. She often forgets where she came from and how easy her life has been.
Sally threw this in her face, talking about her switching between Newman Enterprise and Jabot, and how nepotism had a lot to do with where she is. She didn’t have to work for anything, not as Sally did.
Sure, Sally has her aunt and she was in charge of a fashion brand in Los Angeles for a while, but could you honestly see Summer packing everything up, moving halfway across the country, and trying to start fresh? She’d be a tadpole in the ocean.
I look forward to seeing these two go at it. My money’s on Sally if it’s a straight contest. Of course, Summer will enlist some help.
