‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that star Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) says that because we can’t travel as much as we did in the past because of the ongoing pandemic that has been the coronavirus, he’s brining all of the holiday fun and cheer to his backyard.
The actor, who works in Los Angeles but lives full-time in Connecticut with his family, says that he plans on setting up a do-it-yourself skating rink in his backyard, much to the delight of all the kids in his neighborhood. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Thorsten says that this is has become a yearly tradition for not only him and his family, but for his entire neighborhood in Redding, CT as well.

“We set it up every year,” he noted to Soaps In Depth. “We also have a good hill to sled on, so having that time with the kids to run around in the snow and then drink hot chocolate — or whatever the grown-ups are going to drink after — it’s just a special time of year.”
For Thorsten, he doesn’t mind this whatsoever as he loves being a homebody. “I just love hanging out with my kids and my wife (Susan Haskell; Marty, ONE LIFE TO LIVE) and my puppies,” he declared.
What’s more, the handsome actor said that during the coronavirus pandemic was not the kind of challenge that he had expected. That’s because Thorsten is actually a Connecticut resident who travels to L.A. for filming all throughout the year.
For the last several months he actually appreciated the quality h got to spend with his wife, ex-daytime television actress Susan Haskell and their two daughters, McKenna and Marlowe.
Thorsten put it this way, “Listen, the pool was open. I got to work on cars. The kids did their schoolwork. We took the boat out. We were barbequing. We played board games together. This was great. I don’t talk to anyone anyway, so social distancing is really not that different for me. I’ve been doing it for at least the last 35 years!”
