Lori Loughlin is not letting something little like a prison sentence get in the way of her faith. There is a new report that says the 56-year-old actress has been attending church services with her new group of friends while behind bars.
Lori is almost halfway through her two-month prison sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal. She is currently serving her time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, Calif. and is expected to be released before Christmas.
A source close to the actress told Us Weekly that Lori has been going to church services at the federal correctional facility in order to hold on to her faith. “Lori has been praying a lot,” the source told the celebrity gossip magazine. “She hangs out with a group and keeps to herself.”

What’s more, Lori’s celebrity status seems to be doing her some major favors, especially when it comes to the Covid-19 protocols that have taken place inside the Federal Correctional Institution.
“The other women are happy Lori is there because officials are taking COVID-19 seriously,” the source said, adding, “It would be horrible PR if Lori got COVID-19 and got really sick.”
Lori and her husband Massimo Gianulli were caught in a massive college bribe scandal in which the couple paid a heap of money to get their daughters admitted into the University of Southern California. Lori has been sentenced to two months in prison and Giannulli sentenced to five months in prison, subject to the court’s approval.
In addition, Lori faces a $150,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 100 hours of community service, and Giannulli faces a $250,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.
