Lori Loughlin might be in jail right now but apparently she’s already thinking about some of the future projects that she wants to attach her name to.

There is a new report that says the disgraced actress is still making phone calls to her publicist even though she is serving a two-month sentence for her role in last year’s high-profile college admissions scandal. Here’s what you need to know.

Lori and her husband Massimo Gianulli were caught in a massive college bribe scandal in which the couple paid a heap of money to get their daughters admitted into the University of Southern California. Lori has been sentenced to two months in prison and Giannulli sentenced to five months in prison, subject to the court’s approval.

In addition, Lori faces a $150,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 100 hours of community service, and Giannulli faces a $250,000 fine, two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.

According to People Magazine, a source close to the situation says that while Lori is adjusting to her daily prison routine, she’s still hoping to rehabilitate her public image and get back to work on television.

“She has not had any specific problems,” one source tells the publication. “No one has tried any s— with her. No one is bullying her. The guards aren’t treating her any differently than other inmates.”

With that said though, Lori still had a tough time adjusting to her new normal during the first few weeks of her prison sting. “She was a little weepy on her first night there,” the source says. “But she pulled herself together quickly. Now she’s resolved to finish her sentence with her head held high.”

However, Lori is determined to still turn her wrongs into rights and come out of this as a better person. “She is using this time to focus on herself, but she’s also interested in hearing the stories of the other inmates,” says the source. “She realizes she’s no better and no worse than any of them. She feels like once this is over, she can return to real life: wiser, humbler, and better.”
