‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers say that while there will certainly be fireworks before the holiday season in Port Charles this year, there will be one couple that will finally be at peace, much to the relief of fans everywhere. Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, co-head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor both say that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are finally in a place that fans have longed to see them in, and that’s in each other’s arms.
The head scribes put it this way, “Jason and Sam are experiencing something that they haven’t had together in years — some peace and stability in their relationship. This supercouple is now figuring out what it means to be together day-to-day again. Jason and Sam are going to learn new things about each other and find different ways to relate to each other.”

Unfortunately for Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), the same can’t be said. O’Connor teases, “They have a surface-level issue, which is, how will they combat Ryan as he tries to compel Ava to accept his love, and then they also have to address their own feelings for one another. Can they actually trust each other and have a real marriage?”
And what about Julian Jerome (William DeVry)? Van Etten previews, “Julian’s history of crime and betrayal and secret-keeping will finally catch up to him. His choices will lead to an explosive November for all of Port Charles.”
