It’s been reported by the POTUS Donald Trump himself that he and FLOTUS Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19. This comes just days after his debate with Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden. It was also reported that he and his family were given masks to wear at the debate though they did not wear them.
Whether or not he caught the virus from there or somewhere else is unknown. We’re also unsure of the seriousness of his illness. He could have tested positive and be asymptomatic. It’ll probably be a day or two before we know all the details, but at the moment, there’s been a lot of nasty and terrible tweets circulating about the president.

Whether you like him or absolutely hate him, wishing death upon someone is a disgusting act. Now, criticism, absolutely. If he and his family were given masks to wear, perhaps they should have adhered to the guidelines.
Per the CDC, for his age group, he still has a tremendous chance of coming out of this just fine, of course, there is always the worst-case scenario. Though as a bi-partisan viewer, I think this may be more of a precaution at this point. I’m not sure the President is in any true danger and he testing positive for COVID-19 is not a death sentence by any means.
For the next two weeks, it’ll be interesting to see how this is handled and how the President will react to the threats and death wishes. I can only assume he’ll be on Twitter more and that’ll only lead to more problems if he runs his mouth the whole time on social media.
