Hulu’s ‘Back To Cave One’ is a fun animation that shows a world far into the future that has resorted back to caveman-like ways. We can see that this is the world that we use to live in, because of the old shipping containers and things that were left behind, like a pumpkin bucket for collecting candy.
A caveman and his young daughter find some cave paintings that describe trick or treating and even the image of a witch that they recreate with a traffic cone as the pointy hat. This short isn’t as much of a horror experience as the recent Huluween ones, but is still an interesting short! Take a look at the short below that was uploaded with the following description,
“In the far future, a caveman and his young daughter discover some cave paintings describing the lost tradition of trick or treating. Written/directed by Maryka Laudet & Quentin Camus, animated by Passion Pictures, featuring Betty Palmer & Ben Mann. ABOUT BITE SIZE HALLOWEEN Jr. From 20th Digital Studio, Bite Size Halloween Jr. is a series of spooky cartoons to help families celebrate the Halloween season. All episodes available on Hulu.”

Oddly, the comments have been disabled on this short, so we don’t know what other viewers thought about it, but I enjoyed it. While it didn’t feel like it really fit into the horror shorts for Huluween, it was still a fun little clip that had an interesting idea.
