‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers say that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will tell the love of his life, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) that he needs some space. And by that, he means he needs enough space for an entire ocean to go in between them.
Apparently, Eric is looking to move back to the Congo after he finds out that villagers there need his help and from what we can tell Nicole is very supportive of this trip, even though she would like for him to stay closer to home. Could this mean that we might be seeing a different side to Nicole’s character and perhaps one that is less manipulative and more mature? Maybe. Here’s what you need to know.

Actress Arianne Zucker makes it no secret that Nicole is turning the tide – for the better. As many fans know, actor Greg Vaughan is leaving the show, forcing the writers to send his character packing to Africa. Now whether or not this move is temporary or permanent, remains to be seen. For now though Nicole seems to be taking things in stride.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the beautiful blonde puts it this way, “It’s surprising that Nicole has matured the way she was. I think she’s finally found security with herself and in this relationship she has with Eric, so she can feel for him and what she wants. He’s eager to say no to going back to the Congo, but in her eyes, it’s only temporary and he’s doing some good in the world, and I think that’s why she’s so in love with him and the man he is. So, she’s being a loving and encouraging wife by telling him to go.”
