It was revealed on Talking Smack last week that Mandy Rose has been traded to Raw. The revelation was made by The Miz, who has been locked in a battle with Otis and Rose for the past couple of weeks.
The trade could have implications for Otis and his Money in the Bank briefcase, as John Morrison and Miz have both set their sights on stealing his contract. It was a shocking turn of events for Rose, as she was coming off the back of the biggest victory of her career.
Rose defeated Sonya Deville last month, with the loser having to leave the company. The victory was the biggest of her career, and there now looks set to be huge matches on the horizon for Rose on Raw.
WWE News: Potential Title Opportunity
There are a number of superstars that Rose could feud with when she arrives on Raw tonight. She could immediately have her sights set on the Raw Women’s Championship and a possible showdown with Asuka.
She will need to wait for this however, as Asuka first has to defeat Mickie James to defend her title. Either way, Rose could be waiting in the wings to challenge however the eventual winner of this bout could be.
Rose has certainly improved in the ring over the past couple of months, and she could be made to look like a bonafide star with a strong showing against Asuka. It’s unlikely that she will win the gold, but it will give her a platform to shine.
WWE News: Other Possible Opponents
Rose will be one of the few superstars on Raw that is a face, with a void being left following the departure of Becky Lynch. The fact that she is a face means that there are a number of stars that she could battle against.
Natalya could present another superstar that she could face off against, with Natalya and Lana working together over recent weeks. Other heels that she could work with include Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
However, both of those stars are currently competing as a tag team, which means that a rivalry with Rose for either will have to wait for a couple of months. We could even see Rose make an appearance on Raw Underground. It will be intriguing to see what the plan for Rose is going forward.
