SmackDown airs tonight, and it promises to be an action packed show given what we have seen on the blue brand over the past couple of weeks. It’s fair to say the drama that we have seen on SmackDown over the last couple of weeks has blown Raw out of the water.
And there promises to be more developments tonight regarding some of the biggest storylines on WWE television. But, what could come next in the Roman Reigns, Bayley and The Fiend stories?
WWE News: Major Tease Regarding The Fiend
It has been teased for the past seven days that The Fiend will be welcoming a new addition to the Firefly Funhouse tonight, and there is huge speculation that the identity of that superstar could be Alexa Bliss.
The Goddess has been acting strangely over the past couple of weeks after coming face to face with The Fiend, and it could present an interesting story that will leave audiences gripped about what could potentially come next.
There aren’t many superstars on the roster that have the ability to pull this kind of storyline off, but Bliss is certainly the main one that is able to do so.
WWE News: Roman Reigns Continues Heelish Behaviour
Roman Reigns was a star as a face, but he is now a bonafide superstar on SmackDown since he has become a heel. There is no more interesting star on the WWE roster at present than Reigns, and that is largely down to the fact that he has aligned himself with Paul Heyman.
The first challenger for his newly won Universal Championship was determined last week, as Jey Uso will challenge the Big Dog. There could be a message sent by Reigns this week to his former friend, and it will be must-see, like everything that Reigns does at present is.
WWE News: What’s Next For Bayley
Bayley finally turned on Sasha Banks during SmackDown last week, and with the Boss likely to have time off for the next couple of weeks/months to build up the anticipated match between the two further down the line, there is an opportunity for another female to step up to Bayley.
However, which superstar could that be? A point could be made for many of the women on the SmackDown roster, with Mandy Rose, Naomi and Lacey Evans likely to be in contention. A new number one contender could be determined tonight.
