Let me preface this post by saying here at DSD, we are not in the business of judging a woman’s choice. We advocate personal responsibility above all, and whatever measures someone chooses to take to accept those responsibilities, we support. In this post however we are simply going to do a breakdown of the math involved in what all of the rumors have been saying.
So in essence, we are debunking a rumor. Also, don’t worry, as far as we know, Tana Mongeau, youtube influencer is perfectly okay and her life is not in danger… unless you count all the COVID partying she’s been doing, but I digress, for now.
Youtube: Tana Mongeau took how much plan B?
According to a rather stale rumor that’s been floating around for a bit, if it weren’t for the boon of Plan B, Tana Mongeau would have 50 children by now. Yes, you read that right, 50. Now, you don’t have to search too hard to find this but there on the internet somewhere there is a clip of Tana actually commenting on the price of Plan B in a video, basically saying that, for lack of better wording, hook-up culture is expensive. I mean, she has a point, cover charges for non-COVID times alone could probably run a pretty penny. I can’t imagine what they charge at those “private clubs in the hills” to quote a certain California mayor.
But seriously, she’s right. If one takes Plan B, one has to pay $40-$50 a pop. At least that’s the price at CVS, there could be other retailers that sell it for less, but my googling only gave me one definitive price. That’s a wee bit steep for a night of fun, I think, but again, I digress.
Let’s stick to the plain math here. According to this rumor, Tana has taken this pill enough times to populate one of the COVID parties she keeps attending. However, think of it like this. There are only 12 times in a year, in which a woman can get pregnant. Plan B is only available over the counter to people over the age of 18. Tana is, at the time of this writing, only 22 years old.
This rumor was going around pre-wedding, pre Jake Paul, pre-MTV, but while she was a prominent youtube influencer. Now, there is a chance that this could be true, but that would mean that poor Tana has quite literally taken the bullet every time she has been with someone since the age of 18. The scientific probabilty of that, is non-existant because even 12 x 4 is 48, not 50.
So the math is just improbable, sorry to all the rumor mills out there. But we’re going to applaud Tana for, at least on this front, taking personal responsibility because the world is not ready for Tana’s TLC show about her and her quiverfull brood. Can you imagine, a show centered around Tana Mongeau and her little cloutlings? Because I can, but it frightens me to my very core.
So, at least on that front, we can applaud Tana for taking some measure of personal responsibility. We can only hope that she will soon wise up and start practicing social distancing and mask wearing as religiously as she allegedly makes Plan B purchases, and if she ever gets that TLC show, we’ll be the firs to know. Stay tuned!!!
