Netflix’s ‘Riverdale’ seems to have started out promising, but over the last couple of seasons, it’s beginning to teeter out. The series explores a universe based on the Archie Comics, which seemed odd enough at first but had people interested. What’s happened in the years since is random dance numbers, terrible puns, and odd happenings at their high school.
Apparently even Netflix is noticing the oddities and shared a video to their official YouTube channel handing out “oddly specific” awards to some very cringeworthy scenes. Viewers didn’t hold back in the comments either. Take a look at the video below that was uploaded with the following caption,
“Riverdale may be based in the Archie Comics universe, but there’s plenty of craziness going on we don’t remember seeing in the original issues. We honor some of Jughead, Betty, Veronica and friends’ best and wildest moments in this episode of “Oddly Specific Awards.”

So that was a bit weird right? Wait until you read some of the comments on the video. “You know they’re poking fun at how cringe this show is. They do it on purpose”, “i love how netflix is making fun of their own shows”, “So many great shows getting canceled, while riverdale just chugs along for whatever reason”, and “It used to be okay at the beginning, now it’s just trash, the cringest show on Netflix smh”.
