NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has every reason to be feeling very threatened these days. That’s because now that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is back in town, there’s a good chance that he might swipe the CEO title of Titan away from Xander, who has been waiting a very long time to finally be recognized for all of his efforts. Here’s what you need to know.
According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Xander is making it no secret that he is overwhelmed. He’s been hoping that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) would give him the recognition that he deserves, but that hasn’t happened yet. Instead, it seems as though Victor is playing mind games with Xander by giving Phillip a chance at glory at Titan.

Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Paul Telfer, who plays Xander on the hit NBC soap, offers this, “As much as it’s frustrating and yet again having the carpet pulled out from underneath him, it’s different this time.
It’s one thing for Xander to want these things out of an almost childish desire for acceptance in his family, for social climbing, and to rise his way up through the hierarchy of the family. But it’s a whole other thing when he does genuinely believe that he’s earned this.”
Telfer continues, “He’s like, ‘Hang on a minute. I’m legit now. I’ve jumped through all the hoops. The business is making money. I’ve patiently waited. I’m doing this job. It’s almost like a chess game of Xander hoping that Victor will see his value.”
