TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers finds that according to Jenny she says that she took Sumit’s virginity and that is the only reason that his parents could have to object to their wedding but wait… what? How does that even work? Okay, let’s backtrack with the information that we have on Jenny and Sumit.
Now, any and all information that we are about to put down in this article is what we know to the best of our knowledge and going just from what we’ve seen on this episode of the show so far. This does not include the previous installation of 90 day fiancé the other way in which Jenny and Sumit were on, just this one.
As far as we know, Jenny and Sumit started seeing each other after he was already married. Now, either that is a lie and they started seeing each other before he was married and that is when “the boom boom” (quoting Annie from Pillow Talk here) happened, or Sumit just happened to be in a sexless marriage.
This would explain the reason why they’re getting divorced if that be the case. In Indian culture sometimes arranged marriages are such that the bride and groom don’t know each other until right before the wedding. If it were that sort of situation then maybe, just maybe, Sumit’s wife had not had time to warm up to him in that regard yet or something.

But it was my impression that they had children, however, I’m probably wrong about that… holy crap, I hope I’m wrong about that. Either way, something is dreadfully fishy about this story and I must say that I don’t exactly believe it.
I think Sumit may have lied to Jenny because after all he did lie at first about still being married and then she had to go through that awful instance with his parents and in-laws the first time around when they found out that those two were having an affair.
An incident that she says that she still has PTSD from, and hey, who can actually blame her there? Yike! But I think Jenny’s flattering herself a little too highly if she thinks that she was the first one to, ahem, knock knock knock upon heaven’s door with Sumit. The man was married, come on! Poor Jenny.
At least she now knows that he’s not lying about filing for divorce so there’s that. But the thing is the lawyer would not give up the goods and show her the divorce papers because apparently in India that is the equivalent to making things public. The lawyer also told her that divorces take 2-5 years in India. Yike, so how long is Jenny actually on the hook for? Looks like it may be longer than she thought. Stay tuned!!!
