For Mariah Carey and Eminem, fans have long tried to crack this riddle: ‘Why are you so obsessed with me?’ Luckily, inquiring minds will soon find out as there is a new report that says Eminem might possibly be in panic mode over what Mariah Carey might or might not say about him in her upcoming memoir, Meaning of Mariah Carey, hits bookshelves on Sept. 29th. Here’s what you need to know.
One source close to the situation told Us Weekly in a new interview, “Eminem’s Achilles heel has always been Mariah Carey. They had a very toxic relationship. He knows that Mariah is going to say very negative things about him. He is expecting the onslaught, and almost welcomes it.”
Even though Eminem is always the kind of person who looks calm, cool and collected, the insider added that he is definitely stressed out about this situation and is worried about what exactly she will say about their time together. Seeing how he’s so concerned, there’s a strong possibility that whatever Mariah will say will turn out to be more negative than positive.
Eminem Is Stressed Out, In Panic Mode Over Mariah Carey’s Memoir?
“Marshall is stressed out that Mariah is going to say s— that he was bad in bed or a selfish lover because he has always been very insecure about that,” the source alleged. “She knows that.”
Of course, Eminem has not made any comments about the situation, however, he did trade lyrical jabs with Mariah’s ex-husband Nick Cannon several years ago on his song, Bagpipes from Baghdad. If that weren’t enough, Mariah even dedicated a song to her ex called Obsessed, which was release back in 2009. The lyrics included: “Why you so obsessed with me? Will the real MC please step to the mic?”
So far Eminem has not made any comments about the allegation but seeing how he often puts his emotions and words down on paper and eventually into a new rap song, we have a feeling that we’ll be hearing from him sooner rather than later.
