It seemed like it was just yesterday when David and Victoria Beckham announced that they were pregnant with their first child and now their little boy is about to get married. Their son Brooklyn announced that he proposed to his girlfriend, Nicola Peltz, on his Instagram account. Even though they’ve only been together since the beginning of this year and most of their relationship has been spent in coronavirus quarantine, Brooklyn and Nicola are ready to make things official between them. The aspiring photographer and son of perhaps the most famous soccer player and Spice Girl in the world says he’s ready to become Nicola’s husband. Here’s what you need to know.
“Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day,” Brooklyn Beckham captioned a loving photo of the pair. Brooklyn is wearing a blue suit while Nicola has a long, yellow dress on. “I love you baby xx.” Nicola, a 25-year-old actress, commented on the post, writing: “I’m so lucky to call you mine.”

Thankfully, the couple has the blessing of Victoria Beckham, as she commented about the engagement herself. “The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness ??We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven ?,” the former Spice Girls singer wrote.
Brooklyn previously dated actress Chloe Grace Moretz in an on-again, off-again relationship that lasted several years. So far neither Brooklyn nor Nicola have made any comments about their wedding plans of if they’ve set a date.
