CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers has everyone asking this same question: are Elena and Devon getting married when the show returns? Luckily for Y&R fans, we’ve got some insight right here. In fact, actress Brytni Sarpy, who plays Elena Dawson on the hit show, shares her thoughts on the matter.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the brunette beauty opened up about whether or not she thinks her character will get married with her on-screen love, Devon Hamilton, played by actor Bryton James, who Brytni just happens to be seeing off-screen, too.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Are Elena And Devon Getting Married?
She told the publication, “I think Elena is certainly in love and getting to know another side of her relationship now that she and Devon are working together. I am sure Elena would marry Devon in a heartbeat, but I also know she is juggling her career, being a resident, as well as starting her own clinic, so I am not sure she would have the time for a wedding.”
But seeing how Devon got his fortune back, that is certainly good news for Elena. When asked if Elena and Devon could still be happy without the money, Brytni explained, “This is good news for Elena because the guilt Devon had about not honoring his grandmother’s wishes would have led him down a dark path. Devon being able to continue doing good for other people is fulfilling, and that’s all Elena wants for him, to be fulfilled. Elena doesn’t really know a life with money anyway; it’s not something she has had long enough to feel unhappy without and Devon came from having nothing, so I think he would be just fine, too.”
Needless to say, Y&R fans will simply have to tune in to find out what happens next! ‘Young and the Restless’ airs weekdays on the CBS network. Check your local listings for times.
