According to reports, The Sun recently published an article suggesting that Harry and Meghan had formed a friendship with Hollywood actress and singer Liza Minnelli. They said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been leaning on Liza for support while trying to start their new lives in Hollywood. Well, it didn’t take very long for Liza to speak out and shut down the rumor, claiming that she is yet to even meet Harry and Meghan in person.

British Royal Family News: British Tabloids Called Out On Another Lie About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
“While I wish them well, I have never met Prince Harry and Meghan,” the 74-year-old Tony Award winner wrote in a statement on Facebook. “Any statement to the contrary is a complete fabrication.”
While Liza is yet to meet Prince Harry, she did count the late Princess Diana as one of her close friends. Of course, that doesn’t mean the Sussexes lack in the friend’s department, especially when it comes to some of the most powerful and noteworthy stars in the industry. Harry and Meghan’s inner circle include the likes of George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams, David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John, James Corden, Edris Elba and even Oprah Winfrey, who attended their wedding in 2018 and reportedly has a close relationship with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
